Logitech Wireless Guitar Controller for Xbox 360
June 19th, 2009 by Edwin in Gaming Gadgets
logitech-guitar-hero
Logitech has released their Wireless Guitar Controller for the Xbox 360 that is one of the more authentic Guitar Hero controllers to date. After all, this was specially licensed for Guitar Hero use and is made from authentic materials such as a wood neck, a rosewood fingerboard and metal frets, offering gamers a chance to unleash their inner rock star in the living room with aplomb. Since it was also licensed for Xbox 360, setup is a cinch.
The virtually silent Strum Bar and fret buttons won’t distract you from the music. Plus, with a wireless range of up to 30 feet, you’re free to go where the music moves you. The Logitech Wireless Guitar Controller for Xbox 360 is expected to be available in the U.S. and Europe in August for a suggested retail price of $199.99.
Sounds pretty steep for a video game controller, don’t you think?

It is nice to know that ever since Dell bought over extreme gaming brand Alienware, they haven’t really affected the company’s performance in any way. Dell still churns out reliable (for most people, anyways - there are always horror stories to tell of any brand in this world) notebooks and desktops for millions of people around the world each day, and Alienware sticks to what it does best - working on drool-worthy gaming machines that cost a bomb, and yet people won’t mind forking out good money for it due to the overall aesthetics as well as performance that come in a single package. Having said that, Alienware has rolled out yet another masterpiece today - the Alienware M17x gaming notebook that is set to blow your mind away.

VNC Thumbnail
Viewer
[logo] VNC Thumbnail Viewer gives you the ability to connect to and watch multiple VNC servers at the same time. It uses viewer scaling to fit many viewers within its single window. If you add a lot of servers you can resize the window and it will rescale the thumbnails. Double-clicking on a single thumbnail will put that view in a new window enabling keyboard and mouse control.
Vine Server Vine Server is a full featured VNC server for Mac OS X providing remote access to the GUI, keyboard and mouse using Vine Viewer or any other VNC client. Vine Server offers a rich and unique feature set among Mac OS X VNC servers.
FastPush Fastpush is a script that can remotely install WinVNC on to a computer running NT, 2000 or XP. You need admin rights to do this, but it will work over any reasonable network connection.
VNC Reflector VNC Reflector is a specialized VNC server which acts as a proxy sitting between real VNC server (host) and a number of VNC clients. VNC Reflector can switch between different host connections on the fly, supports reverse host connections and hosts with variable desktop geometries. It supports full-control and read-only client connections depending on which of two passwords was used to initiate a client session. VNC Reflector is a Unix-oriented software but it can be compiled under Windows using popular Cygwin tools.
xf4vnc A VNC implementation for XFree86 v4.x architecture. It enables VNC access to the local X display, and provides a "vncfb" driver which is a memory driver equivalent to the original Xvnc server.
VNCScan VNCScan is the original management console for VNC. It can scan a range of IP addresses for VNC computers, organize remote VNC-enabled computers into groups, check connectivity, and more.
Collaborative VNC Collaborative VNC (currently for Unix only) makes it easier for multiple people to share a remote desktop. Each member of a shared desktop gets a different colored mouse cursor, and can see everyone else's mouse cursors moving around the desktop at the same time. Multiple methods are provided for managing who has control of the desktop at any given time.
VNCTracker Database storage of IP addresses for on-the-fly creation of .vnc connection files. IPs are learned either via a PHP POST form or tac/grepped from an email log. Currently uses Apache, PHP4, MySQL, gnu-pop3d/courier-imap, tac, grep, gawk, sed, bash.
SharedAppVnc SharedAppVnc allows individual windows to be shared or replicated between remote computers. It extends the VNC protocol to allow window regions to be shared rather than the whole screen. The SharedAppVnc viewer puts each shared window in its own frame which can be resized or positioned independently of the size or position of windows on the server or the other clients.
IPv6-enabled
TigthVNC IPv6-enabled TigthVNC application. Both client and server have been ported to support IPv6 under Linux and Windows XP. The Java viewer has been ported too.
